Our Story
Pan Peru USA was founded in 2018 by Pedro David Espinoza to empower women from Pampas Grande (12,600 feet above sea level) to become entrepreneurs. Today these 75 women are using their knitting & crochet skills to start a business of their own, selling their 100% handmade Alpaca apparel in the global market. All of the sales proceeds go directly to the women. Pampas Grande is the hometown of Pedro’s family. We empower female entrepreneurs to grow their ventures.
Our Purpose
The purpose of Pan Peru USA is to empower low-income women in rural Peru through entrepreneurship. Our knitting entrepreneurs receive 100% of the profits from their artwork and are involved in making business decisions. We started with 1 female entrepreneur, today we empower 75 women entrepreneurs. We have trained them in product design, ideation, and design thinking.

Our Vision
Our vision is to equip and train 10,000 women so that they can start their LLCs, generate solid revenue streams, and grow their ventures. We envision empowering thousands of female entrepreneurs in the most indigenous, rural, and remote areas of the Peruvian Andes. We dream of teaching these female leaders entrepreneurship, so that they can provide education and healthcare to their families while creating wealth.
